This book is an introduction to Psychology according to the syllabus of first year Psychology and bs first semester course ” introduction to Psychology” Punjab university. It describes in detail all the topics included in the syllabus with clear pictures and with to the point content. The book has nine chapters in which, it is tried to give a comprehensive account of all the topics given by federal board in the syllabus and the introductory course of Psychology in bs psychology syllabus. The first chapter gives the definition of Psychology along with the complete description of goals and areas of application. The second chapter is about the common methods of research being used in Psychological investigation. In the third chapter biological bases of the behavior are discussed in detail with the complete diagrams etc. The fourth chapter is divided into two parts; sensation and perception while the fifth chapter gives a comprehensive account of motivation and emotional behavior.
