About the Author

Azka is a Pakistani author, educator, and literary enthusiast whose writing reflects resilience, self-discovery, and the transformative power of words. Her journey as a writer began at an early age when she faced significant challenges due to dyslexia. As a child, she struggled with reading, spelling, and distinguishing letters, making academics particularly difficult. Instead of allowing these obstacles to define her, she discovered writing as a means of expression, healing, and personal growth. Beginning her writing journey in Grade 7, she gradually transformed her challenges into a lifelong passion for literature.

Driven by her love for language, Azka earned a Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Sargodha, where she further developed her appreciation for literary arts, critical thinking, and creative expression. Her work has been featured on Fuzia, an international platform that celebrates the voices of women writers, artists, and creators from around the world.

Alongside her literary pursuits, Azka serves in the Punjab School Education Department, where she is dedicated to raising awareness about the psychological and learning challenges students encounter throughout their educational journey. Her professional experience has deepened her understanding of human emotions, mental well-being, and the importance of empathy—qualities that resonate throughout her writing.

For Azka, writing is more than storytelling; it is a powerful form of catharsis, reflection, and emotional healing. Her debut book, Tangled Soliloquies, was published by Auraq Publications in June 2019 and received appreciation for its thoughtful and introspective voice. She now returns with Qalam Ka Musafir, a profound literary work that explores imagination, identity, purpose, transformation, and the enduring relationship between the writer, the pen, and the Creator.
