About Book
This book “The Cage of Innocence” is depicting a beautiful cage that starts to move by carrying different reflections of different times where you can find prevailing patriarchal elements closely such as male domination and female subordination; these are not merely notions but they have strongly fixed roots in the society.
It deeply moves towards the other side of the story where you reach the dark side of the picture and oppression of an oppressed that is succumbing from uncured injuries of life.

it’s an amazing write up by an emerging literary giant. the book is divided into two stories based on real stories of life. the feminist stories in our society have been given much attention because all stories are based on real atrocities of male dominance in the male dominant society and the same is the case of Salma in the story where she suffers a lot throughout the story. the way the dialogues are written and discussion between the goes with a solid bond is a symbol of the great emerging author of tomorrow.
another story is based on the investigation of a suspicious criminal and the corruption of different departments is depicted with efficient dialogues.

THE CAGE OF INNOCENCE, I liked both of the stories based on reality. In the first story, the author did a very good job describing multiple characters in a very simple and clear way. the second story inspires me the most as every girl regardless of which social class she is from, suffers from the same sort of cage and consequences, the story is quite relatable. The topics which are not highlighted but mentioned in the story are also very important and sensitive in nature, for example, “Poverty”, “Money speaks you can purchase things from it but truth and power of the pen is beyond its range”, “Blood relations can be changed within minutes”, Psychological and emotional abuse”.
The role of the parents in the perspective of the daughter as helping hand for her family, a rich but mismatched marriage proposal and at the time of their daughter’s post-marriage issues.
I congratulate the author for this book and wish her the best of luck for her future write-ups.
