About the book
Meet Dai an ancient powerful wizard of the order of Zent that has control over inanimate objects, fire and ice. After decades of imprisonment he is released from a stasis cell, where he meets a cube that is a minor demon. This cube is an entity with much power and intelligence, made by a demon for what purpose no one knows. Discovering there are two other cubes similar in nature he sets out on a mission to retrieve these cubes encountering many obstacles on his path.
Travelling through strange and wondrous lands on his journey he comes across many friends and foes alike. Set in a world where the technological age has self-destructed and returned the world to a dark and medieval time.
Meanwhile war breaks out with the neighboring state of Arbit due to the infidelity of a member of one of the four houses of the city Wor Uzan. In this war the old God Kareen is released on the world and creates chaos and disorder. The Gods are forbidden to dwell in the lands of men yet Kareen disturbs the order of balance by setting himself as God and King of the eastern lands.
Dai sets out to stop the God in his tracks before the lands fall prey to the Gods imperial ambitions, armed with only his wits and power Dai realizes this mission is more dangerous than he expected. How does one take on and kill a God? With the cube Dai travels the world looking for a power to overcome the old God Kareen hoping that this time he succeeds in overcoming the odds and restoring balance to the world.

Currently based in Islamabad, Pakistan, Arafat Latif works as a project manager in the education sector, though his true passion lies in writing.
