Mariam visits Maryam is a story about two friends who visit each other and spend an afternoon together playing games and having fun; even managing to keep Mariam’s little brother out of trouble.
Mariam visits Maryam is just like any other children’s book; fun, imaginative and creative, but with characters Muslim kids can relate to. It represents an Islamic household giving Muslim kids a chance to see themselves reflected in the characters they read. It also lets other kids see that Muslim kids and households are just like any other, where kids play and have fun and the grown ups are always there for them.
