A little bit about Dr Omar
Dr. Omar Khalid Bhatti is an Associate Professor of Business Management at Istanbul Medipol University Turkey and Iqra University Islamabad Pakistan. He holds a bachelors in Computer Science and a MBA in Finance. He received his Ph.D. in Business (specializing in Organizational Behaviour) from IIU- Malaysia. Dr. Omar holds almost Eight years of industrial experience in multinational companies including Dubai Festival City, British Council-Dubai, KAPICO Group and Govt of Ajman-UAE. As an academician his scholarly work mostly falls under the umbrella of Islamic Management, Organizational Behaviour and Strategic Management. In addition, Dr. Omar in the year 2016-2017 was appointed as a Management Advisor for Government of Pakistan-Collectorate of Customs, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. And later was awarded with 4 projects by CPEC (China- Pakistan Economic Corridor) – Excellence Center following the realization of China’s vision of “Belt and Road Initiative”.
He has co-authored a book ‘Underpinnings of Islamic Economic Banking and Finance’ published by Auraq Publications here in Pakistan.
